Build Skincare Skills and Create Options for Your Future

Esthetics is all about knowing what to do and how to do it, and how to make clients feel cared for while in your chair. At Alva Beauty Collective, you can build those skills through our technique-first hybrid training. Our program focuses on real services and real practice so that you can see improvement in your techniques over time. This isn’t just watching from the sidelines. Our students learn by doing, with instructor guidance that helps refine their skills and timing as they build their confidence.

Our hybrid education keeps theory hours online, so you can study at home and review material on your own schedule. Then you can come to campus, where class time is dedicated to practical demonstrations and guided training. We take pride in our small class sizes because we believe a lower instructor-to-student ratio creates a more personalized and supportive learning environment. Our classes are offered in either English or Spanish to help students feel confident, supported, and fully engaged throughout their education.

Esthetician Training Built Around Hands-On Learning

Professional skincare services are an art. It’s a skill that comes from practice.
Alva is a technique-first school where students train in skills they can take to the treatment room. We design our esthetician education to connect theory with practice. First, you’ll study the “why” behind the service, then build the “how” by practicing in class and on real clients in our student salon (under the supervision of licensed professionals). The goal is to help you leave the program with a foundation of skincare knowledge you can use to achieve your future goals.

My experience at this beauty school has been a dream come true! I am excited to be a part of the Cosmetology program offered here with amazing educators like Amber and Daisy and the front desk staff is always so friendly and welcoming. I’m new at this program and already learned so much!

Thoroughly enjoyed my time at ALVA, loved building connections with my instructors/classmates while learning up to date techniques in the manicurist business world. Really appreciated getting real-world beauty service experiences. Also had so much fun while there!💕

After being in the dental field for 23 years I decided to go back to school To follow a passion of cutting hair. ALVA was a perfect opportunity to get the schooling I needed to be able to qualify for state board exam and not break the bank. The speedy curriculum and flexible hours made this possible for me. As a Mom and full time employee I needed that flexibility. They were very accommodating when my work schedules changed. The teachers are very knowledgeable on current protocols and techniques. The atmosphere is relaxed but offers the competitiveness that is sometimes helpful in that drive to be better. As one of the older students, I felt right at home and enjoyed the young energy that filled the air. My only regret… Is that I did not do this 23 years ago! The beauty industry is always growing and very competitive when it comes to what you can make financially. I should have done this so long ago!
